What's new in 2.0.14?
- Advanced Motion Graphics: the new mode in the Motion Graphics tab builds animated graphics for what is said in your video.
- New Podcast tab: the camera follows whoever is speaking.
- New: videos from a start and end frame or from text, images from text, inserted right at the playhead.
- Captions: new look presets with lots of motion and faster burn-in.
- New SFX tab: a sound effects library right inside AMBOSS.
- AMBOSS now also edits in DaVinci Resolve.
- Cleanup now reads like a text.
- Updates now arrive on their own.

Up and running in three steps
AMBOSSInstall
Open the .dmg you just downloaded and drag AMBOSS into your Applications folder. Then launch AMBOSS from the Applications folder.
Lizenz-Key
Enter your licence key
The first time you launch it, AMBOSS asks for your licence key. You will find it in the email you get right after your purchase.
If your app shows German, this screen reads "Lizenz-Key" (licence key) and "Aktivieren" (activate).
Connect Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve
In Premiere, open the panel via Window → Extensions → AMBOSS. It connects to the app automatically as soon as a sequence is open. In DaVinci Resolve Studio, AMBOSS connects by itself as soon as Resolve is running with a project. In the free version, open Workspace → Scripts → AMBOSS (restart Resolve once the very first time) and keep the small AMBOSS window open. The free version needs Python 3 from python.org (installed for all users). No AI accounts, no keys — the AI runs entirely through AMBOSS.

The very first time you open an app that did not come from the App Store, macOS sometimes blocks it. That is a standard Apple warning, not a fault in AMBOSS. Here is what to do:

In the Applications folder, right-click AMBOSS and choose "Öffnen" (German for "Open"), then "Öffnen" once more in the dialog. Only needed on the very first launch.

If macOS keeps blocking it: open Terminal (Spotlight → "Terminal"), paste this line, hit Enter — then open the app as usual:
xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/AMBOSS.app
